PHORIAS AND NEAR POINT TESTING



Phorias and other indicated 
binocular vision testing should 
be done to determine if the 
patient has a binocular vision 
problem.

Near point testing should be done 
to rule out any accommodative 
problems and in the case of a 
presbyope to determine the add 
that might be necessary for a 
bifocal or monovision fitting.
